Well, if anyone should know when a politician’s career is over it’s Sarah Palin…because hers was over the minute Barack Obama won the presidency.
Sarah Palin criticized Ted Cruz’s for his failure to endorse Donald Trump as “one of those career-ending ‘read my lips’ moments,” the former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate said in a statement to Breitbart.
“I guarantee American voters took notice and felt more unsettling confirmation as to why we don’t much like typical politicians because they campaign one way, but act out another way,” Palin said. “That kind of political status quo has got to go because it got us into the mess we’re in with America’s bankrupt budgets and ramped-up security threats.”
She criticized the Texas senator for reneging on his pledge to support the Republican nominee, which RNC officials confirmed that all GOP candidates had signed, according to Politifact. “We’ve been burned so horribly by that attitude that voters won’t reward politicians pulling that ‘what difference does it make’ stunt again,” she said in a reference to Hillary Clinton’s comments during a congressional hearing last year on Benghzai. She concluded by speaking as a voter: “Politicians will see — it makes all the difference in the world to us.”
Palin also included a video titled “Ted Clinton Campaign Ad: Road To Nowhere EXTENDED CUT (HELLO CLEVELAND!)” from YouTube account “Ted Bush.” The video, set to the song “Road to Nowhere” by The Talking Heads, includes clips of former Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina praising presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and criticizing Cruz, the Texan making incorrect predictions of which states would go to Trump in the primaries, and Fiorina falling during a Cruz rally in Indiana last May.
Here is the video…it is INSANE!
