Well, this isn’t good.
George P. Bush, the son of Jeb Bush, is breaking with the rest of his family and weighing in on the election, and is telling people that they should support the Republican nominee, Donald Trump.
On Sunday, Bush, whose father Jeb was the target of some of the Trump’s most brutal attacks during the primary campaign, urged Republicans to get behind Trump in order to stop Hillary Clinton, The Texas Tribune reports.
“From Team Bush, it’s a bitter pill to swallow, but you know what? You get back up and you help the man that won, and you make sure that we stop Hillary Clinton,” Bush told state GOP activists, according to video obtained by The Texas Tribune.
George P. Bush is the Texas Land Commissioner.
Other prominent members of the Bush family, including Jeb Bush and former presidents George W. Bush and George H.W. Bush, have declined to back Trump.
