Elizabeth Warren Crucifies Trump Over His Calls For Hillary Clinton To Be Shot

On Tuesday Elizabeth Warren tore into Republican Donald Trump on Twitter for remarks that were widely interpreted to be about the possibility of using violence to stop, or even assassinate Hillary Clinton.

During a rally Tuesday afternoon in Wilmington, North Carolina, Trump accused Clinton of wanting to “abolish” the Second Amendment, a usual (but untrue) refrain expressed throughout his campaign. “By the way, and if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks,” Trump said. “Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is. I don’t know.”

The Trump campaign claimed the comment was a reference to gun rights voters organizing to stop Clinton at the ballot box, but many saw it otherwise — including Warren, a Clinton ally and vocal Trump critic.
