Donald Trump will meet with National Rifle Association officials to discuss preventing people on the federal government’s no-fly list and terror-watch list from purchasing firearms.
I will be meeting with the NRA, who has endorsed me, about not allowing people on the terrorist watch list, or the no fly list, to buy guns.

Though the Republican presidential candidate has maintained that he is “open” to such a policy since at least December, he was endorsed last month by the NRA—the nation’s largest gun lobby and staunch opponent of closing the “terror loophole.” Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton said Monday that she’s “bewildered” by congressional Republicans’ “refusal to block suspected terrorists from buying guns who are on the no-fly list.”
Wait, is Donald Trump making sense?
