Donald Trump’s campaign CEO is having a tough week.
First we learned that Bannon, the head of Breitbart.com, the alt-right website, was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence, battery and dissuading a witness following an incident with his ex-wife in early January 1996.
Then we learned that Bannon and another ex-wife are registered to vote at a vacant house in Florida, a key swing state. That registration could be a violation of election laws, representing voter fraud.
Now Buzzfeed has uncovered a radio interview where he refers to women as “dykes”.
In a 2011 radio interview with Political Vindication Radio, Bannon said that conservative women—such as Ann Coulter, Michele Bachmann, and Sarah Palin—are an “existential threat to the progressive narrative” and as a result “there are some unintended consequences of the women’s liberation movement. That, in fact, the women that would lead this country would be pro-family, they would have husbands, they would love their children,” he said. “They wouldn’t be a bunch of dykes that came from the Seven Sisters schools up in New England. That drives the left insane and that’s why they hate these women,” Bannon continued.
