The anniversary of the attacks on 9/11 is on Sunday, and both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump agreed to put their campaigns “on hold” in honor of the fateful day. Both being New Yorkers, Hillary was New York’s senator at the time, it sounds reasonable.
Well, per The International Business Times, Hillary Clinton has just decided she would visit Ground Zero, although she won’t be making a speech.
The campaign’s spokeswoman Julie Wood told the Associated Press that the U.S. Democratic presidential nominee will arrive Sunday morning in time for the annual moment of silence at 8: 46 a.m., which was when the first plane crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center.
Donald Trump is not scheduled to attend the events.
What do you think, should Hillary just have stayed home?
