Our favorite Trumpster is back at it again!!
Donald Trump spokeswoman Katrina Pierson appeared on CNN Tuesday morning, and host Carol Costello wasn’t in the mood for Pierson’s BS, and cut the interview short when she saw the interview was “going nowhere.”
Pierson was trying to pivot the conversation with Costello and Angela Rye, former executive director of the Congressional Black Caucus, to Hillary Clinton’s record on Syria, and away from Trump’s bombshell 2005 tape. But Costello pointed out that Pierson’s boss had his mind focused on other topics, namely bashing his fellow Republicans.
Costello said, “I can’t Katrina, because Donald Trump is not talking about that.”
Earlier in the interview, which quickly became contentious, Pierson said the media hoopla over Trump’s 2005 comments, in which he said he could get away with sexually assaulting women because he was a reality-TV “star,” reeks of hypocrisy.
Pierson said, “I do quite find it rich that we have Democrats and the left talking about rape culture, when they are the ones backed fully by Hollywood. This rape culture is purported by none other than the entertainment industry, none other than by hip-hop music, which you can hear on local radio stations, as well as network television, which actually pushes this.”
Pierson was responding to Rye, who said Trump’s comments on the footage were not candid “locker room talk,” as Trump has claimed, but rather another example of society’s casual approach to sexual assault. Rye said, “We know what Donald Trump expects to happen when we put him in the room with a woman unguarded, when we put him a room with a woman when he’s doing ‘locker room talk’. This is not locker room talk, Carol, this is rape culture.”
