The smartest people in the world want you to know who they support for President, and that is HILLARY CLINTON!
In an open letter released on Tuesday, 70 winners of the Nobel Prize endorsed Hillary Clinton for president. In the letter, the Nobel laureates wrote that Hillary will preserve the country’s freedoms, safeguard national security and unite the country to work toward a better future.
The letter stated, “It is imperative that Hillary Clinton be elected as the next President of the United States.”
“Some of the most pressing problems that the new President will face — the devastating effects of debilitating diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease and cancer, the need for alternative sources of energy, and climate change and its consequences — require vigorous support for science and technology and the assurance that scientific knowledge will inform public policy.”
That support is essential to the U.S’s economic future, they wrote.
“Strong advocacy for science agencies, initiatives to promote innovation and sensible immigration and education policies are crucial to the continued preeminence of the U.S. scientific work force. We need a president who will support and advance policies that will enable science and technology to flourish in our country and to provide the basis of important policy decisions.”
Among the signatories were this year’s economics prize recipient Oliver Hart, and this year’s chemistry prize winner J. Fraser Stoddart. Noticeably absent from the letter is 2008 economics Nobel prize winner and New York Times columnist Paul Krugman, who has been quite supportive of Clinton’s policies in the past.
And they didn’t mention Trump…because at this point, what is there to say?
