NEWS ALERT: WikiLeaks Emails Reveal Hillary’s Full Potential VP List…Several SURPRISES Including Bill Gates [DETAILS]

The WikiLeaks email dump of Clinton Campaign Chair John Podesta has been interesting to say the least. It has also been a bit damaging for Hillary and the Clinton campaign, leaking information such as the nation of Qatar giving Bill Clinton $1 million for his birthday, along with the transcripts of her speeches to Goldman Sachs.

We did get one interesting tidbit from the emails, and that is the list of the candidates for Hillary’s running mate. Obviously we know now that Tim Kaine was the ultimate choice…but the other candidates were quite interesting!

Here is the full list:

Javier Becerra
Julian Castro
Eric Garcetti
Tom Perez
Ken Salazar

Tammy Baldwin
Kirsten Gillibrand
Amy Klobuchar
Claire McKaskill
Jeanne Shaheen
Debbie Stabenow
Elizabeth Warren

Michael Bennet
Sherrod Brown
Martin Heinreich
Tim Kaine
Terry McAuliffe
Chris Murphy
Tom Vilsack

Steve Benjamin
Corey Booker
Andrew Gillum
Eric Holder
Deval Patrick
Kasim Reed
Anthony Foxx

John Allen
Bill McCraven
Mike Mullen

Mary Barra
Michael Bloomberg
Ursula Burns
Tim Cook
Bill Gates
Melinda Gates
Muhtar Kent
Judith Rodin
Howard Schultz

Bernie Sanders

Now many of these are not a surprise. It’s telling that Bernie Sanders name was listed alone…I never saw him as an actual potential candidate. There seemed to be too much bad blood between them. The other names are not surprises…we knew about Elizabeth Warren, Tom Perez, Julian Castro, etc.

The surprises were all the CEO’s and people from the business world. Tim Cook is the CEO of Apple, Howard Schultz is the CEO of Starbucks, and surprisingly, both Bill Gates and his wife Melinda Gates were considered as well. Michael Bloomberg was also considered, who is the billionaire (true billionaire) former mayor of NYC.

What are your thoughts? Do you think Hillary should have chosen someone besides Tim Kaine?

Tim Kaine was obviously an attempt to secure Virginia, and judging by polling it seems to be working. And yet, while I find Kaine to be more than competent for the position, I am rather intrigued by Gates for the role of VP.
