The Hillary Clinton campaign is worried, and they are sending out fundraising emails laying it all out on the line.
The email reads, “Yes, I saw that poll from the New York Times that had Trump up four in Florida. And sure, I saw that Nate Silver now says Trump is more likely to win Ohio. But with just a few hours until our final end-of-month deadline — and eight days to Election Day — we can’t let any of that distract us. We always knew this race would come down to the wire. And that’s the reason we have a plan for how to win this on the ground — but what we raise before tonight’s critical deadline will decide how well we’ll be able to fund this effort.”
Yes, of course, it is about fundraising. But what she wrote is true.
From The New York Times:
“Donald J. Trump has slowly but surely improved his standing in state and national polls since the final presidential debate. A New York Times Upshot/Siena poll released Sunday is consistent with that trend: It gives Mr. Trump a four-point lead in Florida, 46 percent to 42 percent, in a four-way race. In our first poll of Florida a month ago, Mr. Trump trailed Hillary Clinton by a percentage point.”
Do you think the Hillary campaign is really this worried, or just trying to get in some final fundraising?
