BREAKING: Donald Trump Has Locked Himself In His Trump Tower Apartment And Doesn’t Want To Leave

Looks like Donald Trump is having a tough time dealing with all the work he must do before his (gag) inauguration.

About five days ago, Trump returned to Trump Tower in New York City — and, so far as the pool reporters and cameras following him can tell, he’s remained holed up in the building ever since.

In fact, after a high profile day in Washington last week, Trump hasn’t said much at all, apart from a few stray tweets. That’s largely left talk about his transition to others.

On Thursday, two days after that election, the President-elect hit Washington, D.C. in style — a high profile meeting with President Barack Obama, calming words during a photo spray, a meeting with congressional leaders — before quickly slipping out of town.

This could be because of the difficulties he’s having with the transitionary period.

The New York Times reports that former Representative Mike Rogers of Michigan and lobbyist Matthew Freedman have been fired from their roles as advisors for national security during the transition, at the urging of Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, for whom Trump requested top-secret security clearance so that he might sit in on the daily Presidential briefings.
