WATCH: Kellyanne Conway Gets RIPPED APART By Chris Cuomo ON LIVE TV – This Is BRUTAL! (VIDEO)

Kellyanne Conway got into quite a fight with CNN’s Chris Cuomo over Trump’s refusal to accept the intelligence community’s conclusion that Russia interfered with the presidential election with the intention of helping him win.

Conway questioned the notion that the Russian government would prefer Trump over Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

“What is it that we know? That Russia is trying to interfere in the election results? You really think that Russia wanted Donald Trump elected president, when he is going to be tougher than Hillary Clinton?” Conway said.

“Why won’t the president-elect acknowledge what is so clear to the intelligence community, that Russia was involved in the hacks?” Cuomo asked, pushing back on Conway.

Conway said that Trump is currently being briefed by the intelligence community, while criticizing President Obama for not adopting a firm position against Russia when the alleged interference in the election was first reported by the media.

“We had a president of the United States, in October, who could have … pushed back harder, but he did not. Because what was he doing? He and Hillary Clinton — and all of their teams — were out there, absolutely believing that she was going to be the next president,” she said.

Trump mocked the intelligence community on Tuesday, insinuating that the intelligence briefing was rescheduled to Friday due to a lack of strong evidence connecting Russia to the hackings.

“The ‘Intelligence’ briefing on so-called ‘Russian hacking’ was delayed until Friday, perhaps more time needed to build a case. Very strange!” Trump tweeted.

A senior U.S. intelligence official later said that the meeting was “always” scheduled for Friday and that Trump was mistaken.
On CNN’s “New Day,” Conway denied that Trump was trying to disrespect U.S. intelligence agencies.

“There are those out there who are trying to delegitimize his presidency, review the election results,” she said.
