Nancy Sinatra has set her boots to walk all over the Trump administration. The daughter of one of the 20th century’s most famous singers–a legendary pop star in her own right–is no fan of the Donald.
Here’s what she posted to Twitter today:

While many people assume that the Sinatra family are die hard Republicans because of her father’s close relationship and endorsement of Ronald Reagan, the family has long had Democratic roots. Dolly Sinatra, Frank’s mother and Nancy’s grandmother, was a Democratic Ward leader in New Jersey, and her father was a registered Democrat until the 70’s. Frank Sinatra was also a strong supporter of the Civil rights movement who fought hard against segregation.
This isn’t the first time that Nancy Sinatra has thrown shade on Trump’s parade. When she learned that Trump had picked her father’s recording of “My Way” as the song he and Melania would dance to at an inaugural ball, she tweeted:
“Just remember the first line of the song.”
In case you’ve forgotten, that first line is “And now, the end is near.”
Millions are hoping that the end is indeed near for the Trump administration and share Nancy’s concerns about the damage that he’s already caused to the nation.
