Legendary newsman Dan Rather has been on fire lately amid all of the controversy spewing out of the White House. He wants all Americans to be up to speed with the current political climate.
Rather appeared on All In with Chris Hayes along with Joy Reid to evaluate the Comey testimony. Rather drew one particularly interesting conclusion concerning AG Sessions’ future in the White House. Rather believes he is now a “marked man.”
Rather commented, “Whether you like what Comey did or not, you have to admit he’s a great storyteller. He took control of the narrative today.”
He explained why the “overlooked” portion of the testimony turned Sessions into a “marked man.” When Comey exposed a separate secret meeting between Sessions and Russian ambassador to the U.S. Sergey Kislyak, it “put a dagger, if you will, right near the heart of Sessions,” stated Rather. Chris Hayes concurred, “There is a target painted on him.”
