On Saturday, three U.S. soldiers were murdered and others were wounded during a Taliban attack in Afghanistan. According to reports, the Taliban took credit for the attack in a statement released by Taliban spokesperson Zabiullah Mujahid.
President Trump has yet to address the issue because he’s too busy golfing at his club in Bedminster. VP Mike Pence filled in for Trump and addressed the murders during an event in Wisconsin.
“On my way here I was informed that U.S. service members were killed and wounded in an attack in Afghanistan. The president and I have been briefed; the details of this attack will be forthcoming. But suffice it to say, when heroes fall, Americans grieve. And our thoughts and prayers are with the families of these American heroes.”
Lt. Damien Horvath, a spokesman for U.S. Forces-Afghanistan, said, “We are aware of an incident in Eastern Afghanistan. We will release more information when appropriate.”
WH Press Secretary Sean Spicer tweeted:
[email protected] has been briefed by his National Security team on the events occurring in Afghanistan”

Everyone is speaking on Trump’s behalf, yet the POTUS still remains silent after American lives were lost. It seems strange for Trump to remain silent since he loves putting the spotlight on Middle Eastern terrorists to help promote his Muslim-ban.
He’s too busy golfing.
