JUST IN: Trump Declares War on the Supreme Court, Defies Muslim Ban Ruling [Watch Here]

Donald Trump will not quit until his Muslim ban goes into effect, even if it means defying a Supreme Court order.  The Trump administration added its own set of rules to Monday’s Supreme Court review.

According to the Associated Press, Trump knowingly ignored the Supreme Court to implement his new rule requiring travelers from six Muslim-majority nations to have a “close” family or business tie in order to enter the U.S.

Applicants must prove relationships with parents, spouses, children, adult children, son-in-laws, daughter-in-laws or siblings who are U.S. citizens.

Rejected relationships include grandparents, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, brother-laws and sisters-in-law, fiancees, and other extended family members.  The most devastating impact is not being able to visit a grandparent.

The Supreme Court ruling states that anyone who has a “credible claim of a bona fide relationship with a person or entity in the United States” may enter the country.  Clearly, Trump included “bona fide relationships” in his exclusion list.

It’s unconstitutional for a president to defy the Supreme Court.  It remains to be seen how the Supreme Court will respond to Trump’s decision.
