JUST IN: Newt Gingrich Drops The Hammer On Trump As GOP Continues To Crumble!

Although former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich and Senior White House Aide Omarosa Manigault have differing reasons for their public condemnation, both have taken to the media to express their disagreements with President Trump.

Newt Gingrich, a strong Trump ally in the past, was dismayed by Trump’s attacks on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, “I think it’s totally misplaced,” Gingrich said on the Laura Ingraham Show. “And furthermore, McConnell’s going to still be there. You don’t pick a fight with a teammate, and they’re not going to replace McConnell. And so I don’t understand what the president thinks he’s accomplishing.”

He also encouraged the President to take some responsibility for the failure of the health care bill, “You could argue he’s the leader of the team, so if things aren’t working, maybe, he needs to take part of the ownership here.”

Omarosa Manigault disagreed with Trump’s jokes about police violence at a panel discussion at the National Association of Black Journalists’ (NABJ) convention in New Orleans saying it was wrong for President Trump to suggest police officers rough up suspects during arrests.

As staunch Republicans begin distancing themselves from Trump, it’s becoming clear Trump is damaging not only our nation, but also the Republican party.
