These days, the White House is abuzz with staff willing to open up about what President Donald Trump is like behind closed doors. According to an adviser, who recently spoke with The Atlantic, no one has displeased Trump as much as Vice President Mike Pence today.
The adviser told the publication that Trump made it known he felt it was “low class” for the Pences to drag their pets along with them to visit the Naval Observatory.
The adviser told The Atlantic Trump told his secretary that he thought it was “low class” for the Pences to bring their pets to the Naval Observatory.
“He was embarrassed by it, he thought it was so low class,” the adviser said.“He thinks the Pences are yokels.”
Apparently the Pences had a rabbit named Marlon Bundo, a snake, and two cats in tow with them. The New York Post reports that Trump is the first president in 150 years to refuse to have a pet inside the White House.
