Representative Dina Titus just lashed out against President Trump over his recent remarks towards immigrants claiming that Trump is a “vile stain” on America’s reputation.
“Just when you think he cannot say anything more vulgar and offensive, he embarrasses us again,” Titus tweeted out this Thursday. “He is a vile stain on our country’s reputation.”
The Washington Post reported that during a recent meeting with lawmakers, Trump referred to immigrants from Haiti and African countries as having come from “shithole countries.”

“Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?” Trump said, while talking about protections for immigrants.
Trump then added that the U.S. should aim to bring in more immigrants from countries like Norway.
Senator Lindsey Graham, Dick Durbin, Tom Cotton and Representative Bob Goodlatte were all in attendance at the meeting, and were shocked by the vicious remarks, according to the Post.
the White House could not not deny Trump’s controversial comments.
“Certain Washington politicians choose to fight for foreign countries, but President Trump will always fight for the American people,” stated White House spokesperson Raj Shah.
“The president will only accept an immigration deal that adequately addresses the visa lottery system and chain migration — two programs that hurt our economy and allow terrorists into our country.”
“Like other nations that have merit-based immigration, President Trump is fighting for permanent solutions that make our country stronger by welcoming those who can contribute to our society, grow our economy and assimilate into our great nation,” he added.
Other Democrats criticized Trump’s remarks, including Repersentive Tim Walz, who demanded for Republicans to denounce Trump’s comments as racist.
