Former President Obama and his wife Michelle Obama had Americans touched by their celebration of Mother’s Day after the two both shared powerful Twitter tributes.

“Happy Mother’s Day to every mom out there, especially the remarkable moms in my life, Michelle Obama, and my mother-in-law, Marian Robinson,” he wrote.
Obama’s own mother, Ann Dunham, died back in 1995.
Former first lady Michelle Obama posted a childhood photo with her own mother.
“It’s impossible for any picture to truly capture what my mother, Marian, has meant to me,” she wrote. “Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms out there, and especially to my own.”

President Trump didn’t accomplish the same desired effect after he shared his own video message on Sunday wishing Americans a happy Mother’s Day and speaking about his own mother, with many pointing out that he read his entire address off a teleprompter.
Americans appaulded the Obama’s for their beautiful tributes:
Wishing @MichelleObama the happiest Mother’s Day
